After scoping out his self-released gems over the past couple of years, enticed by the bold melodic structures imposed over flawless classic breaks, Woodwork proudly welcomes iNFO to the roster and presents this lush 4-track experience.

iNfO draws a sturdy influence from his deep roots that trace back to the very first real wave of electro and hip hop street sounds that dominated his youth in mid-1980s Sheffield. Add to that his immersion in the original rave scene and experiences of hearing the first sounds of UK bleep and techno as they emerged in the decade to follow. These pivotal shifts in electronic music, experienced first hand, are engraved in the music of iNFO, a pure and mature electronica sound shaped heavily by OG electro and bboy culture and UKs undeground electronic music lineage.

'Warm Space' and 'Stepping Back' combine pleasing chord progressions laid out by smooth poly synths, with spasmatic bleepy melodic fragments and powerhouse analog breaks. On 'Magnetic Fields', iNFO maintains the established vibe, but scatters the musical structures into something more loose and abstract, with ample space for his muted bass and bright synth fragments to wander and explore. 'Intervene' then closes the gap, ending the EP with another solid spin jam. The breaks are up front, met with cascading octave synth lines that overlap and punctuate a ghost chord structure built on the steady bass turnaround. A warm, slowly breathing string synth atmosphere is melted over top. Embracing a classic style with a vaguely nostalgic feel, iNFO brings his past into the present, updated with a unique sonic palette and production sheen.
