We Are Here is a soulful 11-track release that feels like a natural extension of the Meanwhile Records sound: clean, progressive music imbued with majestic melodies, designed to move both the soul and the feet. To celebrate the release of Matter's sophomore album, we visited the producer in his home studio to discuss his creative process, origins, and more. Portugal-based producer Fran Garay is quietly becoming one of the underground’s most compelling voices. With releases on tastemaker labels like Balance Series, Mango Alley, and Univack, his sound balances deep emotion with sleek, club-focused production. Once a dubstep-obsessed kid recording radio hits on his mom’s phone, Garay has evolved into an artist with a clear sonic identity—shaped by mentors like Eze Arias and driven by a hunger to create music that sticks. “When I fall in love with an artist, I dive into their story,” he says—something clearly reflected in his own ever-evolving journey.

On this Balance Selections podcast, Fran delivers a dense 60 minutes of progressive sounds squarely aimed at the dancefloor. Featuring tracks from Simón Vuarambon, Ric Niels, and a host of Fran’s own productions, this is the sound of an artist with a truly singular sonic identity.

Looking back at an unforgettable night at Revolution x Movement in Sri Lanka! The production was absolutely next-level and it’s always such a pleasure to play for the incredible people of Sri Lanka — true music lovers through and through. I feel right at home every time.

Here is a new EP with its two tracks Erode and Salomè which make you lightful dream and fly and are created by the italian producer Ciano based by the KE//ER Label. Intense and harmonic these two tracks are well composed to join you in late warm summer. Marabou, of which already one track was released on the KE//ER Compilation “Vom Menschen“, completes this EP with his unique remix work.

Mit der neuen Ep vom italienischen Produzenten Ciano bringt das Keller-Label eine weitere leichte Nummer zum Fliegen und Träumen heraus. Vollkommen harmonisch und durchkomponiert kommen die beiden Nummern Erode und Salomè daher und leiten einen warmen Spätsommer ein. Marabou, von dem bereits ein Track auf der „Vom Menschen“ -Compilation released wurde, rundet mit seiner Remix-Arbeit die EP kraftvoll ab.

Ciano - Erode

With recent releases for some of the scene’s leading labels, Fideles (aka Daniele Aprile and Mario Roberti) are an Italian duo on the rise. Their spellbinding ‘Impressum’ EP is both a fine example of the Fideles sound and exactly in keeping with the direction Tale Of Us are steering their Afterlife label. Inspired by the Ionian sea in Southern Italy, low-pitched basslines and soaring synths give the tracks just the right amount of drama, whilst the rich sound-design allows them to make the most of a big system; something Tale Of Us have put to great use in their sets this year. Take the emotionally-charged title track, the rolling, mechanical drums of ‘Kalotypse’ or the more restrained ‘Hadar’. Across all five tracks Fideles’ character shines through the adventurous melodies and distinctive touch, creating an inspiring next episode of the Afterlife catalogue.
