My Heavenly Destiny

I started writing this on July 4th, 2016. Independence Day, like other American holidays, has always seemed a little unusual to me as a Canadian. It has typically been a day I feel should be celebratory, but seldom has been. And I don't know if that's because I'm an outsider looking in, or if Americans experience it that way too.
