Adam Pits - Tiptoe (Konduku Remix) (SL010)

Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation and three vinyl samplers of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection.

The final part of this three part sampler series calls upon Artefakt, Iori and Szare for three more tracks of minimal techno that are stuffed with evocative imagery. Producer duo Artefakt's 'Narcosis' is first and is a tunnelling bit of rich, soft-edged minimal techno with subtle celestial pads. Iori gets much more aggressive and textured on his warehouse wig out that is 'Inject' and finally Szare's 'All Over' (which is exclusive to the vinyl sampler of Collection) is a kinetic, tightly programmed bit of playfully rhythmic techno with raw claps and plenty of thick sub bass.

Standing on the mountainside you can see the entire landscape. Shaded gullies in the valley, branches moving with the wind and in the distance lines converging with the vault, the clouds stacked high and pierced by beams of light. Intricate details can be found when you stop for a moment and be still. Mirrors face one another, an infinite world.

Heatwave, the new record from Melbourne duo OK EG, is an exploration of techno’s deepest layers. Tracks like “Radial” pulse with bass-heavy grooves, while “Heatwave” melts into lysergic bliss—each sound folding in on itself, revealing new dimensions. Mirrored by the mind bending artwork, Heatwave is a trip through refracted techno at it’s most intricate.

The imprint will be "a platform designed for sound experimentation" and the first missive backs that up with a great blend of drum & bass, half-time and techno. 'Magnetismo' is a prickly opener with slippery rhythms underpinned by bold bass. 'Domo' is a darker sound with menacing low ends and prickly percussive patterns while 'Sideral' is another late-night prowler with low sling sounds, eerie atmospheres and a real sense of futurism.
