This being Gni's first official track is the first step of Gni in his musical journey. "Fake Love" which I would describe as a the kind of song you would want to play and just vibe to draws it's sound from atmospheric sounds and afrobeats drums with creative mixing.

I feel I've matured at least a bit with my sound now and I feel much more comfortable with my sound these days. This freestyle is something I've had with me for some months now and I feel it's time to share it with the world. I'm taking you on a journey with my sound and this song is the first bus stop. I hope you feel a piece of me on this record and you're able to feel what I felt while creating it."

Coming from a hometown referred to as the centre of excellence, "Gni"  was always surrounded by all sorts of music some of which will later inspire him to join the music world  himself. He started out making beats and now finds himself involved in everything from songwriting to mixing. Being inspired by some of the world's greatest, the likes of Drake, BurnaBoy, Future, Kida Kudz, he draws his still evolving sound from both the hiphop and afrobeats world to create something unique and creative.
