Recollection in Tranquillity by GNMR

The idea behind this single is related to the concept of recollection in tranquility quoted by William Wordsworth.

Recollection in Tranquility expresses the essential link between man and nature and the reworking of the sensations it arouses in the artist and how he himself translates them through his art, transmitting them to those who contemplate his work.

The process then implies that the emotion is reproduced and purified in this case in musical form so that a second emotion is generated in the listener.

Recollection in Tranquility was born like this, taking advantage of the limited time that can be spent with external stimuli due to the global pandemic and translating it into music from my studio.
A series of chords, a beat and what I dreamed from my window ; it was a flowering meadow, not buildings....

Its eclectic sound makes the listeners immerse themselves in an absorbing and energetic flow, that is both progressive and constant.
GNMR puts turntables and vinyls at the center of his setup to give its sound analog dynamics.
