This is a short excerpt of the central piece of a documentary on the Bombardier CL-215/CL-415 waterbomber depicting firefighting missions in Spain carried out by the Airforce 43 Grupo, Ministry of Defense (www.43grupo.com). For this I mixed classical and contemporary instruments, added choruses and percussion. The rhythm and blank spaces are left in purpose to accomodate video parts and reinforce images and narrative.

BRIF Trailer

I wrote this track back in 1997. Recently I've rescued my old and reliable Korg X3 and remixed the track in Nuendo 4.0. I respected the original MIDI files, sounds, settings and effects. I believe that the result is clearer and more controlled, much in the way I was looking for back in the nineties. All the sounds come out exclusively from a Korg X3 (1993) unit. This is the first track of a series entitled 'Korg X3 Revival'.
