Tinlicker return to Anjunadeep with their ‘Lost Gravity EP’, a four-track club EP that calls back to their uplifting progressive roots. Jordi Van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer have been busy since the acclaimed ’Sleepwalker EP’ (their last standalone release on the label). The last year has seen the pair land a Beatport #1 with their edit of Robert Miles’ ‘Children’, release two collaborations with Ben Böhmer, and accrue tens of millions of plays on their 2017 track ‘Because You Move Me’.  

From the rapturous builds of ‘Past Life’ to the hefty bass-driven title track, the ‘Lost Gravity EP’ is a statement release that reaffirms the duo as leaders of progressive and melodic house, championed by the likes of global tastemakers such Tiesto, Diplo, Oliver Heldens, Armin Van Buuren, and Lane 8.

Innovative electronic trio Cubicolor follow up their introspective ‘Points Beyond’ with second single ‘Wake Me Up’, lifted off their upcoming album, ‘Hardly A Day, Hardly A Night’.

Full of organic instrumentation paired with purpose-built synthesisers, every sound on the album is unique. ‘Wake Me Up’ is no exception, utilising the trio’s unique sound design and Tim Digby-Bell’s siren-like vocals to tell a story about the impermanence of self-identity.

With their previous album ‘Brainsugar’ accumulating over 40M streams and attracting praise from the likes of Mixmag, Spin, and Clash, and a host of heavyweight DJs including Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, and Kölsch, Cubicolor look to build on their reputation with their follow-up LP, out Feb 21st.

A label which continues to go from strength to strength, Le Youth’s blossoming PRGRSSN Records looks set to continue to establish itself as a hub for exciting music across the melodic and progressive spheres of electronic music. Having already uncovered a wealth of rising talent across the imprint’s releases to date, the label now turns to Canadian duo Leossa who deliver their debut release on PRGRSSN Records via the excellent two-track effort ‘L Minus / Alouette 1’ this February, with the lead production also set to be remixed by recent label debutant, Fløa. Lead cut ‘L Minus’ opens proceedings in fine style as sweeping synths and rolling, refined percussion go to work amongst commanding, pulsating basslines, whilst ‘Alouette 1’ draws evolving arps, entrancing vocal synths, and vivid bass stabs across six minutes. The label also welcomes back recent signing Fløa for a quick return, with the rising Russian opting to reach for rich chords and deep, moving melodies across his interpretation of ‘L Minus’.
