Battle for the Fort is a bouldering comp held in Colorado.

This will be my second time back, based on an invitation from spilling baddie beats on all ears last year. This invitation inspired me to record a set for year number two.

This is a mixture of new Trax and some recycled Badders from time gone by. A trained ear will hear the oldies while the new ear will revel in the stoke. Either way, the point was to reach a vibe that set these athletes into a "Badders Zone."

Producing concerts and on-hill parties was my role while living there. Living in Jackson gave me the opportunity to drive back & forth from town to the JHMR on the daily, therefore giving me time to listen to music. I stayed in a hotel in Switzerland that had a radio built into the head of the bed frame. Channel 4 was by far the best channel on the radio and inspired me to make this mix. Every night before I went to bed I would turn the radio on to Channel 4 and the beats would play for hours. . . best bed/radio combo ever!
