The Gonzaga Band Venice 1629 Sampler

Jacques Castérède (1926~2014) is a renowned composer and pianist. He won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1953 and has composed numerous melodic pieces including ballets, concertos, symphonies, ensemble and chamber music.

The 12 études pour flûte by the french composer were written in 1961 and feature a blend of romantic and modern languages. 

The present arrangement for bass recorder only changes the closing note, octave down, for an effective piano dynamic.

I have recorded it live at my studio using a Küng f bass + bell hole key by Daniel Bernaza.
