Prominent collaborator, now known as ‘ambient king’ to those aware of him, Olson returns to LOFS for his second release with the label.

Following on from ‘Halogen’, ‘Overlapping Shadows’ dives further into the thick undergrowth of ambient sound design, exploring rich textures which melt and mold around one another, creating a true sense of feeling for the listener. Olson calmly explores worlds unfamiliar to ours that carry a familiar sense of being and wonder. The EP is beautifully crafted for maximum pleasure, turn on, tune in, drop out.

Olson is a regular collaborator with the ‘LOFS’ collective run by Number One, Oshi Moon, eleu, Jamie Genome and Adam Barnes; LOFS is a crew of multimedia artists, producers, djs and party runners (2crendsdeep), using the label imprint as a further extension of their creative output, a solace and a home for sharing their music taste with the world. Olson runs the LOFS x Crend Request Party ‘2 Crends Deep’ with the rest of the LOFS crew, not being afraid to stray away from his calmer ambient side he can be found regularly closing the night with an array of dance music spanning from jungle, footwork, techno and beyond.
