Dispatch Limited welcomes back Ben Soundscape and we've got a premiere of EP title track Desert Swim.  

The EP takes its name from the misheard vocal sample in the title track 'Desert Swim'. Providing a theme and idea to the track, the idea of taking a swim in the sand reminiscent of a trip by camel across the Sahara desert, as seen in the artwork for the release.

To celebrate the release of his uplifting new track Echoes, Millbrook hits us with fresh mix.

Passion, art and love are often witnessed in their purest forms when snatched from the darkest of times. During the grey, solitary march that was the European summer lockdown, Millbrook ended up meeting his, now partner. Together they co-created ‘Echoes’; the uplifting track that was born from a need to capture people's frustration of not being able to attend live events. Soaring pads, euphoric synths and bubbly beats combine to create an energetic vibe which is so inspiring it almost drips hope from each of its glorious, hands-in-the-air build-ups and every bouncy, broken-beat drop.

Mainframe Recordings head honcho DisasZt will be celebrating his birthday in the best possible way this year; he’s a releasing an almighty beast of a track to add some fire to these cold December nights. Get ready for the heat because “Winter Is Coming”.

Disaszt’s 2020 discog’s list this has been one full of collaborations, with eclectic tracks which span the happier, upbeat, pop-laced dance-floor vibe, to the downright, tear-out, techy twisters, however, “Winter Is Coming” reminds us of the darker, more rough and ready side of the Austrian maestro.

Here we undoubtedly have a heads-down, 3 am bubbler. Introducing the single is a twisted and techy cinematic soundscape, slowly building intensity with every anticipating note, an eerie vocal adds an extra layer of malcontent to an already dark intro. Rather than an explosion of sound, the drop reveals a continued level of unsettling and highly un-expected calm. The sci-fi swaths which dominate the melody create a constant level of menace which continually simmers just below boiling point, while the clean breaks below replicate an ever forward-marching, unwavering descent into darkness.

Finishing the year with some fire, DisasZt invites us to heat up those speakers because ‘Winter Is Coming.”

Bowlcut Beats return for round 5 with a banger from Bristol based Sudley. Sudley marks his debut on Bowlcut Beats with ‘Keep Things Movin'’ feat Rider Shafique which is a bass-heavy tune worthy of turning any dance floor into a heads-down, sweaty mess. The intro starts with a mood-setting synth with the instantly recognisable vocals from badman Rider Shafique, with luscious drums that keep the tune moving and rolling with the undercurrent of low bass stabs and deep sub-bass. Be sure to keep your eyes on this one!
