Ghost Hardware is a Drum and Bass DJ/Producer and Artist from Mexico, living in the UK. Ghost is part of Rebel Talent Agency and holds residencies with Rebel Music, Incurzion Audio, Immrsve, Cobra Sounds and Yamatai. Ghost Hardware is a non-binary, queer DJ known for their deep, dark mixing style. 

As an artist, Ghost gets lost in unknown locations at night for creative and therapeutic purposes. Themes of Nyctophilia (love for the night/darkness), Anonymity, Escapism, Dissociation, and Euphoria are all explored in immersive Video Installations. The works challenge gender stereotypes in public space and the stigma of womxn and the night in capitalist society. Ghost also produces music videos and album artworks both collaboratively and independently, having recently worked with Incurzion Audio and Arxiva on Tesseract Recordings.

Ghost’s experience as a queer artist has so far been positive through connecting with other queer artists, and brands such as Unorthodox have been a huge help with making these connections possible as this hasn’t really been around before in their many years of raving and DJing. It feels that the scene has become far more inclusive for queer folk which has helped them gain confidence in coming out more publicly.
