"Dawri", chant traditionnel tunisien, prend une nouvelle dimension dans ce remix fusionnant la richesse du folklore tunisien avec l'énergie vibrante de la musique électronique. Inspiré par le travail de Ghoula, artiste tunisien, ce remix conserve l'âme du morceau original tout en lui insufflant une nouvelle vie à travers des sonorités électro dub.

Ce chant, à la fois féministe et empreint de sensualité, est une invitation à la séduction, à l'émancipation et à l'affirmation de soi. Il célèbre la liberté de jouir de son corps et la promesse d'attirer l'autre.

Ce projet incarne l'union entre les musiques traditionnelles de la Tunisie et les textures électroniques contemporaines. Mon objectif était de respecter l'essence du morceau original tout en explorant de nouveaux horizons sonores, en mettant en lumière la force et la beauté du message originel.

Passionné par les croisements culturels, j'ai cherché à créer un pont entre le passé et le présent. Le chant profond "Dawri", ancré dans la tradition tunisienne, se mêle ici à des rythmes électroniques pour offrir un voyage sonore à la fois nostalgique, moderne et empreint d'une énergie libératrice.

"Dawri," a traditional Tunisian song, takes on a new dimension in this remix that fuses the richness of Tunisian folklore with the vibrant energy of electronic music. Inspired by the work of Ghoula, a Tunisian artist, this remix preserves the soul of the original piece while breathing new life into it through electro-dub sounds.

This song, both feminist and imbued with sensuality, is an invitation to seduction, emancipation, and self-affirmation. It celebrates the freedom to enjoy one's body and the promise of attracting another.

This project embodies the union between traditional Tunisian music and contemporary electronic textures. My goal was to respect the essence of the original piece while exploring new sonic horizons, highlighting the strength and beauty of the original message.

Passionate about cultural crossovers, I sought to create a bridge between the past and the present. The profound song "Dawri," rooted in Tunisian tradition, merges here with electronic rhythms to offer a sonic journey that is nostalgic, modern, and filled with liberating energy.

Remix of a traditional song from the northwestern mountains of Tunisia, brought to prominence by the voice of Eya Daghnouj.
Gobbi7 reinvents it with a powerful drill rhythm, where percussion interacts with the ney and hypnotic melodies.

“Nagouz” refers to the small bell attached to a horse’s harness. In the song, its sound announces the arrival of a lover’s visit.

Passed down orally, this song once accompanied evening gatherings — during pauses between dances or women’s circle chants. It belongs to a tradition in which women’s voices, often confined to the domestic sphere, found a space of power and freedom.
