Okay so from the sounds from the previous track I pretty much spent a couple hours rearranging the various hits into a somewhat dark sounding, yet simple piece. I really tried to emphasize a bass groove as best I could by pitching the bass to a much lower sound and adding reverb at various places, I got an awesome sounding trombone sound out of it though. When it came to the claps/ rim shots I added a ping pong delay and reverb to get a fuller sound. I also added lots of reverb to the snippets of white noise throughout. I probably should have EQ'd and added compression but what the heck.

This is a song I made using only a kick drum and some synths I created in  tyrell6. It was an assignment in where I had to use only synths. It helped me to focus on the soundscapes and moods rather than the beats.

So basically this is a track I made in two solid days using ableton. I used massive and a bit of tyrell to make the synth sounds, and layered a decent amount of samples for the kick sound. I used a lot of audio automation, especially the autofilter, reverb, and ping pong delays effects.  I really tried to emphasize the big synth sound at around 35-1 minute in by creating a sonic buildup using a reverse clap with white noise. I grew a little inspiration from mord fustang and with some help of some youtube videos and a lot of tweaking created an awesome sounding synth in massive. I made it even bigger by layering in  a sub base  and more low to middle frequencies. At the end of the track I tried to emulate somewhat of a square bass groove coupled with random clave hits and multiple delays, reverse sounds/ and white noises  with reverbs. All in all I worked pretty hard on this and I hope you enjoy the piece.
