I really love Vangelis' work on Bladerunner, and memories of green was my fav. I wanted to capture a different feeling with this rendition, one that resembled Rachel accepting the truth of her identity, while still mourning the loss of her memories. Left drums out to free up space in the mono and get a more cinematic feel.

Samples used to make keys, pads, and assorted sounds. Tried to take advantage of the wider space/ stereo to create a more cinematic scene.

Boundless

Hyena was pitched down and made into Subs, Walrus bro had pitched raised into synth with LFO.

Crescent

Bass was resampled like 10 times into a sub. Guitar sample was chopped up and bit-crushed for high end.

Euphoria

Drums/percussion were sampled from the first song, big delayed chops from the second were used as vocals. Horn/ trumpet sound used as a riser during the hooks.

Transient Sequel. Snare drum layer sampled from one album, main verse from another, and various beeps from the last. Happy thanksgiving.

Used only one of the samples. Chopped a section for the primary loop and arpeggiated another while pitching it down to get the cello pad sound.
