Deemed the “only band you will ever need to see live” and inspiring legions of impressionable youth that have flocked to their shows like a more sinister breed of Grateful Dead fans, God Damn have perfected the art of the live show with their trademark brand of “heavy as fuck” riffs, soul-destroying rhythms and bi-polar like vocals.

Arising in 2011 from the Black Country, the birthplace of UK metal itself, God Damn is a mind-fucking chemical reaction of punk, grunge, heavy metal and garage that is somehow stronger and more potent than all of its parts. Already wining support from NME, The Guardian, Artrocker and Radio 1’s Phil Taggart, and supporting Superfood, Wet Nuns, The Wytches and Icarus Line this year, it’s only a matter of time before God Damn inherits the Earth and we all become grateful minions.

‘In Heaven’ is a cover of the theme from David Lynch’s masterpiece Eraserhead that is somehow even more surrealistic than the film, the track showcases lead singer Thom’s eerie intoxicated vocal range before leading into an all out assault of sludge guaranteed to grow beards and drop balls.

Hailing from Wolverhampton in the heart of the Black Country, God Damn will unleash their third album on One Little Indian records early in 2020. Recorded primarily live in just a few days at Edge Studios in rural Cheshire and produced by Sylvia Massy (Tool, RHCP, Johnny Cash, System of a Down).
‘There was a physicality to the recording process- whether it be the crash of the cymbals bleeding into the guitar takes or tracking the vocals in the control room with playback blaring at 110db.
