‘Shelter’ is set to be one of Cristoph’s most successful acclaimed releases, vinyl copies are currently in production and will be circulating toward the end 2014. In his early years, Cristoph was influenced by the sounds of his fathers Motown vinyl, paired with his older brothers Chicago and Detroit house cassettes, not a bad combination even if we do say so ourselves. This nurtured a passionate love for music from an early age, with him citing Masters at Work and ‘MK’ as early influences. From North to South and everywhere in between, Cristoph has been causing a storm on the dance music scene. His effervescent, broad ranging style encompasses heavy basslines, uplifting melodies and carefully chosen vocals, spanning the deep house to techno spectrum. 

Having had two No 1’s on Traxsource main chart with “Guffaz” and "Big H", it has been a busy year for Cristoph with bookings in Ibiza and across Europe.

Remixes on this hot package courtesy of Sante, Josh Butler and Snilloc with early support from the likes of Hot Since 82 and Richie Hawtin.

Snilloc takes things a slightly funkier vibe with a grooving baseline, clever staccato synth stabs and a big brass horn making this a dance floor must have. Next up is Josh Butler with a hypnotic heads down groove. Berlin star Santé emerges with quality a deep, dark mix. Showcasing his excellent production skills and a clever percussive groove. Last but certainly not least ViVa Music's new boys System2 come up with an underground floor shaker to round off this wicked package.

Having recently worked with Suara music, Cristoph’s hard work ethic accompanied with his quality production has gained the attention of Radio 1’s Pete Tong, listing him as a “Future Star”.

Josh Butler makes an appearance on Definition with his delightfully retro ‘Sideways Acid’ EP. Opening the 3 track EP is the title track, a rich, thick throwback to the days of Acid House sure to get any dance floor moving in no time. Next, we’ve got ‘Educate’, a straight house percussion with a warm rhythmic chord thrown over it. It’s relaxed enough to listen to at home, but contains enough energy to be played in the club. Lastly, ‘What I Want’ starts us off with a nice and heavy beat before building up to a playful bass line and wandering vocal cuts that sit nicely in the background. All in all, Josh Butler shows us a beautiful example of how modern House done right.

Our Florentine brother, Leonardo Gonnelli has been a tear this year dropping a bunch of standout releases on Deeperfect. And, we have great news; he is back! This time he pairs up with Parisian DJ and producer The Mekanism. This is a guy with serious underground house roots, who is gifted at creating effortlessly cool music that works on many different dancefloors. Releasing on well respected labels such as Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It, Needwant, Moon Harbour and 2020 Vision to name a few. We are sure you are going to love this stellar collaboration between these two industry heavyweights. 
The lead track here is a lush, club focused house jam with a minimal touch. ‘About Us’ gets down to business with a stripped back, yet energetic beat that rides over a warm, pumping sub groove. The track remains underground and loopy, using the slick vocal phrasing and catchy acidic synth riff to drive the energy and build an enveloping, hedonistic vibe. 
On ‘Lies’ the guys delve into rougher territory, with chunky tech beats and tough acid riffs bringing the power for the peak time floors. Building synths create tension as the lush vocals add a warmth and texture above the squelch of the main acid lines. They have taken a more heads down approach on this track and have created a serious dancefloor weapon that will dominate clubs and take no prisoners in the coming months!
