The harmonious synergy between Mowgan and Fanta Sayon Sissoko's radiated in their 2020 "L'Enfant Kita" EP, and MoBlack Records is pleased to perpetuate some of that sorcery. The label's very own founder and namesake steps up to the task, gloriously executing a reinterpretation of "Tubani." Keeping the DJ/producer's ingenious handiwork and the Malian vocalist's impelling lyrics intact at the track's marrow, MoBlack preserves the original's finesse and meticulously applies a unique touch that lets it flutter to alternate depths. While imbuing gracious syncopation and permeating reverb to transmit Fanta Sayon's and her chorus of schoolchildren's vocals into sublime introspection, MoBlack integrates mesmeric rhythms and earthy percussion to spool and protract eternal groove - a lasting soundtrack for moments of infinite remembering.
