I made this for the Endangered Species production created by House of Living Colors. I wanted this song to reflect the resilience but also pain and eeriness of being a trans person of color which caring expressions. The original music accompanies a full spoken word accompaniment told by Aywaa, who in the piece performs a beautiful lyrical dance to this piece.

I mixed my inspirations of jazz and afroturism such as Sun Ra and some amazing percussion sounds from Will Kennedy and Nat Townsley
