Hello again everyone, originally released in 2018, here's Light Sweepin'!!  This time, I decided to try something a bit different.  Went for a more 1950's style of music, and I must say that I actually had some fun making it.  It's called " Light Sweepin' "...I came up with the idea while sweeping my floor today, haha!!


Made on iPad (iOS) as usual!  Lyrics BELOW:

This time, I decided to make another original traditional-style Chinese song!  Put on your headphones and enjoy~ :D

All made on my old iPad 2 as usual.  However, this song took me around 4 hours to write, and another 4 hours to create and prep for release.  So that's a total of 8 hours of work. XD


LYRICS (CHINESE):

從下水道, 有一隻蟑螂出來
牠膩味用膳垃圾料理
所以牠決定要旅行
找出比較好食品

喔喔小強, 請你路上小心
因為有一些馬車接近
多半蟲不想被輪子砸碎
因此你要先給我們滾

牠死裡逃生成功過馬路
可以說這隻蟑螂真幸運
其後，牠碰巧碰到哥們
牠們一起開會

看天上黑頸鶴在空中
眼不轉睛以蟲會上
蟑螂會必要立刻取消
讓蟲避免駕鶴西歸

兩天之後，小強到一座山
牠都沒有吃得好飽飽
然後，牠開始慢慢爬山
進而牠見到一朵花

蟑螂接近來聞到花葉
那時候~牠觸鬚顛簸
清香之花讓牠明白
難道花叫牠來吃?

牠咬一口，發現口感很有趣
香花葉比垃圾餐好吃
毅然決然蟑螂開始茹素
每天吃香噴噴香花




LYRICS (ENGLISH TRANSLATION):

A cockroach emerges from the sewer
He grows tired of eating garbage
So he decided to go on a journey
In search of a better meal

Dear cockroach, please be careful on the road
For there are carriages approaching
Most bugs do not  wish to be crushed by the wheels
Therefore it is best to move out of the way

He barely made it across the road
It could be said that this cockroach was very fortunate
He then coincidentally crossed paths with his brethren
And now, a cockroach meeting is underway

In the sky above, the black-necked crane hovers about
With its eyes fixed upon the meeting below
The roaches had to cancel the meeting immediately
As to avoid being eaten alive

Two days later, the traveling cockroach reached the mountain
But he hasn't been eating very well recently
So then, he slowly started crawling up the mountain
And then, he spotted a flower

The cockroach approached and smelled the flower
At that moment, his antennae began to rumble
The fragrant flower made him realize something
Could it be that it was the flower calling to him?

He took a bite and found the texture very interesting
The flower tasted better than garbage
Without giving it a second thought, the cockroach decided to become a vegetarian
And so, the fragrant flower became his daily meal

Hello again everyone, I'm excited to release one of my more recent songs here on SoundCloud!  This time, I decided to spend around 1 month re-creating + remixing + re-vocalizing one of my favorite Chinese songs on my iPad/iPhone (iOS) via Xewton Music Studio (as usual).  It was very challenging, and I almost gave up a few times, to be honest...but somehow, I kept going and eventually completed this project! :D
