"Amor Fati makes his debut on Promesses with 'stoopide': a 16 track album ranging from trap to EDM to emo-rap. The project is really an album with the soul of a mixtape, marked by its abundance of ideas and the freedom of form(s) inherent to the format. 'stoopide' was born in 2022 with the desire, after a detour through folk music, to return to the roots and pay tribute to the musical genre that first inspired Amor Fati: SoundCloud rap. The project is an ode to naïveté and spontaneity, materialized by raw, aggressive productions, all composed by the French artist. The lyrics are alternating between waves of frenetic energy, carnivalesque euphoria and moments of dark introspection and self-destructive moodiness, all imbued with the dark humor and self-deprecation typical of the post-modernist attitude representative of the SoundCloud culture. 'fourmiz' featured vocals from French singer Lavender and 'spring break' from Brussels-based artist lazza gio."
