Disquiet Junto Project 0611: Music That Listens to Itself
The Assignment: Record a piece of music that repurposes itself as it proceeds.

I started very late and struggled a bit. Music that listens to itself gave me the idea of two synths playing the same sequences as an echo. I settled on for the preset "harmonic wind" on Aalto plugin by Madrona Labs. It didn't quite turn out right in my opinion. It would probably be quiet hard to meditate to it...Anyway, that's what I did this week.

Echo/ Wind (disquiet 0611)

One point I keep trying to drive home here in as many ways as I can is that this is the dystopia we were warned about. The main difference between this mind-controlled dystopia and the fictional dystopias in novels like 1984 is that in 1984 people knew they weren't living in a free society, whereas in this dystopia the people believe they are free.
