Algorithmic data platforms are ‘Zoltar Fortune Machines’, telling you what you desire for your dime of data. Your 'fortune’, good or bad, yet ‘entertaining’ is addicting you to ‘drop the next dime of data in the machine’. Ha-ha we humans always fall for that trick. We buy entertainment to forget reality. That must change. Shuck the data thief cell phone, shut down the laptop, set free time to ‘meet for the street’ where organizing comes together in the masses.  Meet at the market, shopping with friends, at the street corner, at the park - and publicly start organizing by re-learning of our humanity in full social context, shucking the disturbance of the e-device The problem with wars is that they always start from dehumanized leaders and progress through dehumanized people. Only humanity can end inhumanity. Organize by first taking your daily e-vacation to return to organizing humanity.

There has been no effective anti-war movement since the elimination of the Draft.  There will never be one in the United States until there is re-instatement of the draft in the USA.

Free speech is meaningless and worthless if you don't use it to oppose real power. In western "democracies" the majority of people are so effectively propagandized into speaking in alignment with the interests of the western empire that they may as well be taking orders on what to say at gunpoint.

In totalitarian regimes you say what your rulers want you to say because they physically coerced you using the threat of violence. In "free democracies" you say what your rulers want you to say because they psychologically coerced you using propaganda. The end result is the same.

Reagan once joked about Soviets thinking they are free because they're allowed to criticize the US government as much as they like, but really that was just projection. Westerners think they have free speech, but they never use that "free speech" to criticize the tyrannical empire they live under. 

Free speech is held as an important human right because it helps the people put a check on power. If you're not using for that, you may as well not have it.

Free Speech Is For Fighting The Empire

In an article published last week titled "US working with 'Five Eyes' nations, Japan on information warfare," a publication on military intelligence and communications technology called C4ISRNET reports that the US and its allies are collaborating "to share and sharpen information-warfare techniques in the Indo-Pacific" with the goal of "countering" the "increasingly aggressive China."

US Power Alliance Says It's Coordinating An "Information War" Against China

Things are escalating more and more rapidly between the US-centralized power structure and the few remaining nations with the will and the means to stand against its demands for total obedience, namely China, Russia, and Iran. The world is becoming increasingly split between two groups of governments who are becoming increasingly hostile toward each other, and you don't have to be a historian to know it's probably a bad sign when that happens. Especially in the age of nuclear weapons.

There Has Never In History Been A Greater Need For A Large Anti-War Movement

Every now and then I like to highlight the fact that all this China stuff was forcast way back in 2004 by Michael Parenti, who said that the unipolarist neoconservative ideology that had hijacked US foreign policy envisioned a massive strategic confrontation with Beijing.

"The PNAC plan envisions a strategic confrontation with China, and a still greater permanent military presence in every corner of the world," Parenti wrote in his book Superpatriot. "The objective is not just power for its own sake but power to control the world's natural resources and markets, power to privatize and deregulate the economies of every nation in the world, and power to hoist upon the backs of peoples everywhere — including North America — the blessings of an untrammeled global 'free market.' The end goal is to ensure not merely the supremacy of global capitalism as such, but the supremacy of American global capitalism by preventing the emergence of any other potentially competing superpower."

The Hawks Have Had China In Their Crosshairs For Years

Do you see what they're doing there? These professional China hawks are explicitly trying to frame peace as a strange "aberration", and war as the status quo norm. They're saying Australians require a "psychological shift" and a "mobilisation of mindset" from thinking peace is normal and healthy to thinking war is normal and healthy.
