GO+ | VALHALLA (INSTRUMENTALS)

Hi again, voidfriends! In a blast of inspiration, I was inspired enough to finish the song I was working on yesterday called "The Girl from the Void" -- but as you can see, I changed the title slightly. 

I was initially planning on adding vocals and having a more traditional verse-chorus structure, but I was having too much fun just adding more guitar layers. It has a sort of post-rock, long form structure, but with some metal/post-punk/maidcore influences in some places. This is also my longest song to date -- as I sort of wanted it to have a "jam" session feel, with improvised sections flowing together.

On a side note, I thank you guys for all supportive words in my sort of "face"/guitar reveal video, lol. To be honest, I was a bit anxious about the reception i'll get, but you guys are def cool. While I mainly make music for my own mental health t's definitely inspiring to know that there are other guys listening to my stuff, and recognize me as a person. Playing guitar and music is the only thing that reminds me that i'm human, no joke. Also, I mainly posted that IRL vid because I had some messages asking me about guitar tabs and techniques, and wanted to show you guys how I play guitar. As you can see, I am a rhythm player at heart, so I don't do complicated leads and techniques. Anyways, I'll do more IRL/playthrough vids in the future!
