At The Playground

Deep and gloomy, «The Lure» is symbolic for a dark time the band had to go through a few years ago. In an effort to let go, they wrote this song and went darker than ever before. A slow burner, leading up to thrashing power chords and a powerful feeling of release.

Over The Hills

A pop song with a decidedly vintage vibe, «Salt Water Love» harks back to the early 1960s. A ballad, drenched in love, sweat and tears – this one is a crowd pleaser. This recording is a re-imagining and new definite version of the same song which was featured on their debut album, this time embellished with electric guitar and the impeccable talent of Valeria Zangger on drums.

Goldbarne are a currently inactive Swiss Trio of accomplished musicians and performers. They make quiet, acoustic music that shakes and moves you.

Professional guitarist Dragan Pijetlovic and vocalist/actor Frank Wenzel have known each other since their school days. With Goldbarne, they decided to unite their talents and create a sound that is luminous, sad and quietly grand. The two invited bassist Marian Rivar to round out their earthy, velvety sound. The resulting songs are minimal, yet skilfully executed, and combine folk music, jazz and alternative pop.
