Sabo live Katerblau Kiosk 

Here's the recording for my DJ set from July 2nd, 2017 at the Katerblau Kiosk, hands down my favorite place to play music in Berlin.  The whole venue is a wonderland of discovery, the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, and I don't think I've played for a more open minded crowd in all of Europe. Longer sets allows you to take your time and be patient with the music, and the mixing.  The slow building journey I had imagined in my mind, was possible to make a reality, and extra time allowed me to experiment as well. This was probably my favorite gig of my entire 2 month Summer Sol Europe Tour. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I had creating it in the Kiosk.  Thanks to Mira, Britta, Martin, Claudia, Joyce, David, Brett, Toto, Sylvie, Dorin, any other friends I may have forgotten who were there, and especially to all you lovely dancers who joined me on this ride. Happy New Year everyone! 

2019 is necessarily going to result in some new beginnings in my life and hopefully some positive changes and evolutions for us all.

In line with my own growth, I wanted to get back to my roots of digging really deep to put together a mix that I think is dreamy, ethereal, with haunting vocals and subtle but groovy basslines.

Also, after 3 weeks of watching updates from our dear friends traveling from Vietnam to Mexico I couldn’t keep it together without sharing something with everyone!

Hekske hat eine unglaubliche Leidenschaft für den Downtempo entwickelt und nennt sich selbst die 'The Bibi Blocksberg of the Downtempo Scene'. Neben ihrer grandios kurierten Podcast-Serie „The House Witchtapes“ spielt sie seit 2017 regelmäßig für diverse Podcast-Serien Sets ein und macht dies mit unheimlicher Akribie und Hingabe. Und wie das mit den Hexen so ist … ein bisschen Magie ist irgendwie dabei auch immer im Spiel. Keiner ihrer Podcasts gleich dem anderen … immer wird für die Reihe eine ganz speziell passende Stimmung erzeugt und in einem wunderbaren Flow vermischt. Podcasting in Reinform.

Liebe Hekske tausend Dank das du als Hexe meinen letzten weiblichen Podcast einspielst. Mein Konzept mit 50/50 Podcast hat übrigens super funktioniert und ich kann allen Reihen empfehlen es evtl. auch umzusetzen … ist gar nicht so schwer … es gibt genug tolle Künstlerinnen da draus und es werden immer mehr … aber nur wenn man sie aktive supportet.
