Music, when created correctly has the power to separate you from reality; it is a rare power that brings infinite joy to others. Borak holds that power. This artist’s deep and eclectic style creates energetic sets that offer not only an experience for your ears, but also for your body and mind. 

In Borak’s music you’ll hear the influence of his travels to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. His influence also comes from his early days in music when he played as lead guitarist in rock bands and as well as the time he spent as a radio host and DJ at Turkey’s Power FM.

Over the years his style has grown into a force that brings together tribal drums, distinctive vocals, emotional Eastern ballads, and dynamic bass frequencies to share with people all over the world. 

The DJ career that started in Turkey took Borak across Europe and to Los Angeles where he has played on stage at some of the top festivals in the world including Burning Man.

The community that Borak has created with his music is the fire that ignites his musical spirit as he continues to grow in the United States and beyond.

On that dusty Friday after sunset, what was supposed to be a 1.5hr set turned into 4+ hours of dusty, slothy, downtempo tunes for everyone at Alight Market Village (7+D) and its slothy dancers. 
What a ride !! Thank you Ajesh + everyone that expressed their feelings on the dancefloor mid dust storm <3 Made my burn! 

Grateful to share 3hr18min of my only downtempo set at this year's burn.
Hope where ever it finds you, it puts a smile on you :)

Peruvian musician @marcotegui began his musical journey in 2009, firstly making an impact in South America before graduating to the world stage. He is now based in Ibiza and was previously A&R at Berlin’s iconic Bar25 label as well as managing its sister imprint Sirin Music before starting his own DowntempoLove label. He has a magical live set that combines the same rich harmonies, hypnotic sounds and melodic synths as his productions on labels like Get Physical, Stil For Talent and many more. His new Kindisch Stories album is a rich tapestry of South American melodies, instrumentals and Tegui's own exquisite musicianship. Hier ist mein Set von der letzten BE HOME Veranstaltung vom 07.02.2019. 
Diese Nacht stand in einem ganz besonders lichvollen Kontext, gewidmet einer überaus liebevollen und starken Seele. "Fly like an eagle spirit bird of freedom" ♥

BE HOME ist ein neues Veranstaltungsformat aus eigenem Hause "Beate Uwe". An jedem ersten und dritten Donnerstag im Monat werden die Tore geöffnet um eine liebliche Reise aus individuellem Klanglandschaften zu kredenzen. Umgarnt von einem stetig wechselnden Mix aus Konzertabend und DJ-Night, beginnt jeder dieser Abende mit einnehmender Livemusik, gefolgt von prickelnden Downtemposets namenhafter DJs mit samt einer beschwingenden Atmosphäre zum wahrhaftigen zu Hause fühlen. Mit am Start waren in jener Nacht die Live Band bzw. das Sänger-Duo ANA & Claudio gefolgt von Kahl & Kæmena, AVEM b2b Arutani, Haunted Water und mir, San Miguel. ♡

Einen riesen Dank & fette Propz gehen an Stefan der mich mit seinen Percussions sowie mit seiner süßen Trompete zart und unaufdringlich begleitete. :)) Unendlich viel Liebe an Jaques und das gesamte Team.. ..und natürlich an all' die wundervollen Seelen welche den Abend mit Ihren Herzen, sowie hüpfenden Wesen zu einem magischen Raum gestalteten. ♥
