"DHV Presents" is our new series of mixes, featuring artists we hold dear. We'll showcase DJs, live acts and music artists that have created truly unforgettable moments with their performances. This is not about bathing in nostalgia however - we actually want to relive those sacred moments with you, by inviting those artists to open portals that allow us to step right back onto those packed spaces of rhythmically swaying dancers. 
Let's get lost in their art until we're finally reunited.

"My very dear friend Niki Sadeki asked for a podcast for Deep House Vancouver quite a while ago, but I was always busy and after we finally found a date I delayed it again and again :D I guess because she never gave me a proper deadline which I normally need to get started. Finally I managed to finish the mix which is a something in-between podcast and DJ set I would have played live. So the first part could stand alone but at some point I decided I want to keep going and brought up the energy again. I guess I’m more than ready to go back on stage. Hope to see you all soon! Mira is that rare kind of DJ whose music can immediately transport you into her world - a midnight circus in Berlin, where time loses all definition and anything becomes possible. 
As a resident at Bar25, Kater Holzig and her current home of Kater Blau, Mira has been a defining proponent of a deeper, more soulful and organic kind of dance music. 
Her yearly birthday events at Kater Blau ‘Katzen Tanzen auf’m Tisch’ attract thousands of international visitors every year, and have hosted a multitude of previously unknown artists who have now gone on to tour the globe. 
In the studio and behind the decks, Mira often collaborates with her partner-in-crime Christopher Schwarzwälder, and the two of them have released a host of chart-topping singles. 
Mira has been at the top of her game for the past twenty years, continuously shaping the sounds around her, and never ceasing to push inspiring new artists. As happy playing at a small underground club in East Germany in the 90s as she is playing to thousands of festival-goers at Burning Man - Mira is one of those artists of whom you can truly say that she’s doing it for the love of the music.

M.RUX records legendary set after legendary set, and he's back after some time since his last one, joining us for our birthday número cinco. Soulful, bluesy, world exotica, misty psychedelia and of course, crazy good drums. 

"It's all framed in by samples of Georges Perec and Bernard Queysanne's film:
"Un Homme Qui Dort" from 1974 
which to seems fit our current situation pretty well."

Connecting for such a special moment, the artwork comes from a collab between collage geniuses Ventral is Golden and Dima Rabik. Their visual work is enchanting and them working together for this is just heartwarming.

Another year, another pilgrimage to Garbicz. But this time was an extra special one. Just an hour before our set the sky burst open and it started pouring nonstop. Yet given all the chaos, the confusion and the mud deep deep in the forest we all just vibed, danced and frolicked together. The only thing that really mattered in the moment was music and music only. That is a feeling that will be engraved on our hearts forever. Much love to everyone there.

When the Temple burns, we bury a part of ourselves. 

We remember. We cry. We smile. And we move forward. 

A beautiful moment of eternity. Something intimate. Sometimes hard. Somehow sacred.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus after the Temple Burn has become an annual tradition for me.  It's a very special moment emotionally.  But this one was the toughest.  For many reasons...

But in the end, this closing opened the door to something bigger.

I am forever grateful for what happened afterward. Family for life. Unforgettable. All love.

The custom built DJ booth is nestled into the heart of the lounge room, surrounded by cushions, couches, and lovely creatures. An ideal setting for me to feel comfortable and connected with the audience. It feels like home and invites me to explore the full range of my collection with confidence and flow. The more we live in the new realities, the harder it becomes to imagine what life would be like if the virus thing had not happened at all. It’s only a matter of time when we’ll run out of days we had planned before the pandemic, which became invisible pages in some unwritten book. We’ll then come to terms with the new days, realizing that we are going to divide life before the isolation and after it, stuck amid some incomprehensible present, a what-we-could-have-done past and the what-comes-ahead future. No matter how fast we come to terms with the fact that we need to redefine and re-plan everything, and no matter how soon we decide to abstain from planning anything at all, we are nonetheless going to have a small and insignificant feeling of regret for the days we thought were important and were going to change the way we felt and the way saw things. And those “unfulfilled days” will remain the only link between the former and future realities.
@vikenarman and @acidpauli’s six-hour set they played at @Rambalkoshe marked, in some sense, the beginning of their joint performances. They were supposed to play b2b all night long at Berlin’s Watergate club today to officially kick start the new chapter both of them were so passionate about. To celebrate such a milestone, we are publishing an excerpt from the set this unbelievable symbiosis played at Rambalkoshe a year ago and took around hundred people to a different dimension, filled with nothing but incredible and infinite energy.
