Exile has demonstrated the perfect combination of new and old Drum and Bass, switching between most sub-genres. I am T98 AKA Todd Poole to any day to day person. I am a Herefordian DJ who loves all things music. I started mixing in 2018 when I was messing around on my mates decks. I started off listening to Jump Up and slowly started finding a love for Jungle. Since going to my first Nozstock in 2018 my main goal has always been to DJ at Herefordshires finest festival. 

Since progressing in mixing and experimenting with different sub genres of Drum & Bass I have found a massive passion for Minimal and the mix I am providing for this competition is a small selection of some of my favourite tracks on my USB.

NY’s Liondub joined forces with Matos & Lovelace back in 2020 to showcase talent across the Jungle D&B spectrum on Uproar Audio, a sub-label of Liondub International. For the imprint’s 14th release, two of the UK’s most talented yet underrated producers link to present an EP that is dripping with swagger, intensity and untouchable production value. Simple Simon has released on SS’s Formation, and Break’s Symmetry along with Pharoah who has been a staple in the Liondub camp since 2019. Another two powerful producers to watch, and another one for the history books from Uproar Audio.

Artifact: Music To.. Get You In The Mood For Snowbombing

Our 93rd Truancy Volume is delivered by Berlin expat Jay Donaldson. Having previously produced music under a variety of monikers, 2013 marked the release of the first Palms Trax EP on new London-based label Lobster Theremin. Equation nodded to both Chicago and Detroit in equal measure with three floor ready house jams that have never failed to get us grooving. With the end result coming in as one of our favourite debut EPs of last year, it made perfect sense to get in contact with the man himself and have him deliver us a mix. We also found time to sit down and have a chat; discussing his earliest musical experiences, his live performances and the merits of German Haribo.
