Lately, we crossed paths with The Rotterdam-based creative Gerran, known by the alias 2:29, 
and the moment we heard his set, we knew we would love to have him on one of our podcasts to share his music with you. 

He immerses himself in various facets of nightlife, pursuing moments devoid of temporal awareness or cognitive reflection, guided by his passion for bass, beats, and synths, resulting in a fusion of electronic melodies and break beats. 

Gerran's approach counters the trend of accelerated music and rapid remixes, opting instead to slow down and stretch tracks, intensifying the experience through heightened bass kicks, affording listeners and dancers an extended period to connect with the music. This ethos is consistently exemplified in his radio show on Operator Radio, where he crafts a yearning for euphoric encounters.
