Little did anyone think, that when we started this series, it would grow into what you see now. Delivering an exclusive mix on a weekly basis, from a range of DJ's & artists, headliner's, label bosses, industry legends, up and coming talent and even our own members. The series has grown from strength to strength, gaining recognition from the highest levels of power within our scene, raising a few eyebrows along the way.

It seemed only right to mark such a prestigious occasion as this by delivering a mix that will go down in history. Always keen to top what's come before, the Progcast this week features arguably one of THE biggest names in our world right now... FRAMEWERK!

Framewerk (aka Darren James and Alec Milliner) have been long establishing an eclectic electronic style that defies genres yet maintains a deep distinctive atmosphere throughout all their music. With influences ranging from 70’s prog rock to 80’s electro, the duo both found a home in the UK acid house scene of the late 80’s and later joined together to form the group “Manhattan” during the mid-90’s progressive house era. 

These decades of dedicated development and unrelenting passion have kept Darren and Alec continuously at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene. Their work today as “Framewerk” showcases their diverse styles and innate abilities to create and share music that represents the best of the golden eras with a fresh, modern sound all their own.

Using their understanding of quality music to run their well-established imprint Capital Heaven, Framewerk continue to influence the industry with their unique perspective.

We are delighted to reveal our Exclusive Series mix for September 2022, and as is customary, we have yet another world class act on show today. 

Continuing with the theme of an extended set, this months artist has used this framework to deliver a mix filled with all his OWN productions. Included in the mix you will find unreleased tracks, remixes and rarities, all blended together with a skill and style unique to him. We are truly honoured to announce, the one and only Micah! 

Micah Paul Lukasewich is a Canadian electronic music composer/producer with his feet firmly planted in underground dance music. After debuting on the scene in 2003, Micah quickly gained momentum by signing his music and remixes to some of the most sought after electronic dance music labels in the world, including Progressive House Uber-marque Global Underground. 

Setting out on Tech-House/Trance Legend Chris Cowie's UG Records, Micah's climb was fast and furious with nearly 70 releases & remixes between 2003/10. This gained him thousands of fans from all corners of the world. After nearly a decade away from the spotlight, Micah has returned in full form.

He also became noticed as a competent DJ when his Ruhnsong Radio show on ProtonRadio became one of the most listened to shows of the time. This landed him a residency on Progressive breaks biggest act, Hybrid, prestigious mix hosting website hybridized.org. This platinum residency gained Micah instant attention landing him DJ shows across the planet, including a brief jaunt as touring DJ for Global Underground.

It is safe to say Micah has left his mark on the world's underground dance music scene, and there is nothing stopping his rise. Look out for multiple forthcoming releases, remixes and more, there's more to come from this prolific artist and passionate DJ.

Hello everyone and welcome to PFG. As is customary now as the year draws to an end, we are proud to present our selection of the best tracks of 2022. 

What makes this collection so good? The fact that all the music has been selected by our wonderful community of like minded music lovers from around the world. In the year we all came out of lockdown, this mix is even more special. 

We have carefully chosen three top class artists to deliver this work to you, not only have they had an outstanding 2022 individually, they have had a brilliant impact within our group too. From mixes to artwork, to promotion to live gigs, our DJs jumped at the chance to compile this stunning opus. 

First off the blocks is Nathalie Henriette, who with the backing and trust of her best friend Harry Lemon, has taken 2022 by storm. Gaining not one but two headline gigs at ADE, as well as top nights in other countries and online guests for PFG and her own Exultation show. 2023 is going to be massive for her.

Aubrey Fry has had the year of his life musically and personally. When John Digweed closes every show on his January tour with “The Loop”, subsequently releases it on Bedrock, and then works with Charlie May and Alex Banks on remixes. And then to top that off, has no less than FOUR tracks on the ground breaking Quattro 3 compilation. Wow indeed!

Last and by no means least is Chris Scott, of the legendary production outfit Lexicon Avenue, the main man behind the awesome Forensic Records marque. 2022 saw him play his first post lockdown gig in Hungary, amongst many friends. The first full FR party in Newcastle with D-Nox as headliner, and meeting up with PFG as he played at our very first official pre-party before John Digweed in Manchester.

Finally a special mention goes to Harry Lemon, for kindly mastering the final mix, and Aubrey for this brilliant artwork. We do hope you enjoy, these tracks selected by you, mixed for you. Thanks again to these three wonderful human beings for their time and dedication not just now but all through 2022. We will be back for more next year, ENJOY!

PFG The Mix Collection Part V (Nathalie/Aubrey/Chris)

In October, Seladoria was over in New Zealand, and this set was recorded at the Halloween Party in Queenstown hosted by 'No Trace'.. An amazing party that started in the day time with DJs including Danny Howells, Darren Emerson and and culminated with the first ever back to back (to back) set from Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman and Steve Parry. This is an hour taken from that event.

Delighted to welcome our Exclusive Series artist for February, Noel Sanger!

Noel Sanger is an artist who, while flying mostly under the mainstream radar, has cultivated a rich musical history along the way. His releases dating back to the late 90s remain in high demand, and his current work continues to see top DJ support. 

Releasing on some of dance music’s top labels, with a focus on his own Dissident Music imprint, Noel’s productions make regular appearances in Beatport’s top ten genre charts, top tens at the Billboard Dance Club and UK Musicweek’s buzz charts.

Over the years, his work has been heard on labels such as Black Hole, Spinnin’, Armada, Perfecto, High Contrast, Lost Language, Coldharbour, Mute, Dissident and dozens more. He has remixed and worked with artists like  Erasure, Nadia Ali, John Taylor of Duran Duran, Matt Darey, Soul In The Machine, and Markus Schulz. 

Noel spent the early 2000s touring extensively as North American opener for the best known DJ of the time, Tiesto, and even mixed “Summerbreeze 2,” the deeper follow-up to his “Summerbreeze” mix CD on Nettwerk Recordings. Later, he was invited by no less than BT to collaborate on tracks for Tiesto’s Grammy-nominated 2006 album “Elements Of Life.” 

Evolving to deeper sounds, Noel’s label, Dissident Music, was launched in 2007 and produced a number of hits throughout the ensuing years. Recently re-launched as part of Miami’s Essential Media Group, Dissident has gone from strength to strength, with nearly a dozen Beatport top ten chart showings in as many months.

As a DJ, Noel has manned the booth at some of the world’s best clubs, sharing the stage with some of electronic music’s top names. He has played at festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival (Orlando) and his South Florida residencies have hosted some of the biggest names in dance music, with Noel playing to hundreds and even thousands of eager clubbers each week. Now residing in Orlando, Noel plays select shows nationwide and spends his weeks in the studio, remixing and preparing for his upcoming releases. 

It isn’t always the case that after this many years, an underground artist remains as creative and relevant as Noel has. But between his productions, his label, and his expertise behind the decks, Noel is proving without question that the best is yet to come.
