GoldCast Mix Series

Established in 2017, eclectic. is a Sydney based label first and foremost, as well as a platform aiming to highlight dance and design as one. A rotation of resident graphic artists and dance music selectors allows their 'phase' mix series to nurture Australian up and comers, embracing eclecticism in all senses of the word. With a slew of releases and events under their belt, eclectic continue on their path of bringing attention to what the Australian arts has to offer.

Going on 4 long months (on top of the rest) absent from our beloved dance floors, this 85 minute selection is a nod to their nocturnal escapades. Enjoy a plethora of peak time cuts from the likes of DJ Life, Escape Artist, D. Tiffany and Lisene.

Hailing from Geelong’s ever-growing talent pool of DJs and magical music minds, Poyner brings to the table a tasteful and highly danceable sound that is undeniably his own.

His GoldCast is a big nod to his inspirations and the current sound of the Melbourne dance music scene, like Prog Kingpins: Suki, DJ Life and Solar Suite, as well as included selections from up-and-coming local vibe-slingers Sam Alfred and Stum.

Showcasing an ear for energetic sounds and euphoric vibes , and a fine knowledge of what it takes to get bodies moving in it’s truest essence, Poyner’s currently underground profile is one to watch out for.

Momentum Mix #034 Ft. Ned Bennett

After a lengthy hiatus, we’re excited to return our GoldCast series. First up is Naarm local, Gomery. 

Gomery has proven his prowess in mixing and track selection, not being defined by a single stylistic label. He meticulously curates a beautiful selection of sounds from across the globe spanning the genres of progressive house, trance and ethereal breaks.

Gomery's avid and constantly evolving affinity for electronic music allowing him to transcend and collaborate ideas with neighbouring artists. His most recent artistic endeavours helped to form Naarm-based rave collective Haptic, collaborating with artists such as DJ Ali, Neri J and DJ Spit, to name a few. With no signs of slowing down, Gomery is definitely an artist to keep an eye out for including his forthcoming debut LP in collaboration with Budg of Midnite Snack/Glitch Malta.

Finn Morrison, AKA Culchee, provides us with our next Crush Collective mix. Culchee is no stranger to some upbeat tunes to stomp your feet and move your hips to. 

Culchee performances have been hosted in various settings, in the likes of the Maynooth Students Union, Brady’s and Wigwam (and he’s no stranger to spinning tracks at a rave either🤠). Culchee keeps things juicy, upbeat and flowing with a saucy variation of tracks from genres like electro, ghetto tech and break beats. He takes inspiration from the likes of Jensen Interceptor, Juicy Selekta and and DJ Fuck off to deliver some upbeat beat and provocative energy.

From Trance and hard house to breakbeat and DnB, the daarons genre range will always keep you guessing. 

Coming onto the scene just before covid lockdowns, isolation lead to an electronic deep dive that’s resulted in a diverse sound and style. Having recently gone head first into music production, that broad taste and style has clearly reflected onto how a daarons track is assembled.

Making up 1/2 of Grand Theft Audio, tackling the back end logistics of Bloom Nightclub, shooting photography for many big name Naarm artists like Sam Alfred, Makk and Tom Santa and shooting at Naarms very own Xe54 nightclub, daarons is quite the busy guy, yet still manages to deliver an energetic and fresh performance every time he’s on stage, landing him an interstate gig at Boorloo/Perth’s the Vault, and supporting some of the highest profile acts in the scene.

Hot out of an Albury oven comes the 13th instalment of our GoldCast series, from no other than the Spargo Bros.

Since the birth of their Palace Trax brand, Spargo Bros - and more recently spinning under alias' Porl and AJ Fresh - have made a name for themselves not just as fine party curators but also very talented selectors. In their GoldCast they showcase their unique hi NRG, trance and electro fusions as well as some ultra peachy transitional skills via digital and vinyl mediums.
