DJ BORING - Radio 1 Essential Mix

A diehard dance music fanatic, Pretty Girl (Emilia Predebon) spent the last three years finding her footing in Melbourne’s electronic music scene. Production came first for PG, teaching herself Ableton for the last of her teen years, discovering an aptitude for both the creative and technical components of the art form. The live set came next, where PG found herself performing most weekends throughout 2019, the most notable being Handle’s intimate, lively warehouse event, which she headlined in August. The final addition to PG’s repertoire was DJing, which advanced quickly, being taken on by Novel early in 2020 to support Man Power, DJ Boring, and Dusky. 

Throughout the pandemic so far, PG has found herself both experiencing the common adversity of feeling stagnant, but also gratitude for the opportunity to slow down and plan for the near future. After signing with a new agency (TBA) in April, PG spends her days creating and preparing for future releases, which will be announced in the next 6 months. 

For her anticipated GoldCast, PG has put together a signature blend of classic Chicago house, ethereal breaks, high-energy-house numbers, and most excitingly Skee Mask’s “Fjorward Flex Dub”, which she has described as a “bitch to mix” since her earliest days on the decks.
