In only 3 years, Benjamin Leclerq alias Madben has been making a name for himself and been noticed as one of the most promising newcomers from France. 

From Astropolis in Brest to Rex Club in Paris or Piknic Electronik in Montreal, no dancefloor can resist his tight live-act, a unique piece of Detroit-infected grooves, interstellar melodies yet still pretty contemporary.
Considered as the spiritual son of the king Laurent Garnier, Madben quickly gets support from his favorite artists and after his first vinyl on Astropolis records, he got the opportunity to put his music out on legendary labels like Bedrock or Kevin Saunderson's imprint KMS.

It's a great pleasure for us to welcome this guy for his first release on Goldmin Music with a very diversified yet still consistent Ep called "My mad strings"
Our man drops 2 amazing tracks. While "My mad strings" is the classic peaktime cut that doesn't let you any single second to breathe, the 2nd track "Dawn" does the job in a softer way with a brilliant use of horns played by Nzeng (hornist of "Le peuple de l'herbe").

As we felt both tracks also had an amazing remix potential, we appealed to the fantastic irish duo Psycatron and Detroit legend Terrence Parker to try alternative versions of them. They did the job properly.
Terrence brought some true D vibe to it, almost bringing "Dawn" to "Dusk". Ok this one was not needed... but really, his style is recognizable between hundreds of artists and whatever he works on, he brings his dreamy & sexy touch without any concession as you can expect from a man who grew up in Detroit.
Psycatron's remix is closer to the original. They injected a lot of warmth to the original track, keeping the main elements and playing with them as if they created them by theirself which makes a wicked and extended reinterpretation of the eponymous track.

Goldmin Music is a label based in Paris and founded in 2012.

If it's been composed using analog machines or a cheap laptop. If it's been shaped by the loneliness of a small town in the woods or by the pressure of the heart of a big city.
Take it as it comes. Our goal is to cultivate the difference, the peculiarity, the unexpected, the rare in order to seek similarities and connect several universes.
