On I Go (rough stuff)

This is the original MIDI version that Matthew Walker built the orchestral arrangements around for So It Goes. When I first heard it, I laughed. It fitted the brief perfectly - quirky, upbeat and a little Van Dyke Parks. You can hear more of Matt's stuff on soundcloud. Search for Apple Eyes.

Love - A Gold Sounds Album Teaser

This came out earlier in 2010 on CRC music group. In fact, this is the first release on that label. And our first proper one. It's got us on it plus Matt Walker's orchestration (he's on Soundcloud too - check out Apple Eyes) and lots of friends on various instruments. It was produced at Beaver Town and First Love.

04 Sneinton Boulevard

We played two songs for a live session at 6 Music's hub. It's basically a little vestibule between the studios with some mics stuck up and a big perspex screen to stick the drums behind. We were dangerously close to being too loud, so had to do it in one take. These are the results.
