I struggled putting this mix together. My spring inspo was all over the place and the mix didn't come together as seamlessly as they sometimes do. But sometimes you've gotta prioritize progress over perfection :) Still think there's some nice lil moments in this one <3

seasonal mixtapes | deep melodic house 🌱

I've been playing around a lot with layering pop vocal tracks on top of melodic house tracks. The intro of this song was a serendipitous mashup of pop band, LANY, meets Massane. I also tried to make the mix more interesting by layering 2-3 tracks at a time through most of it(bonus points if you can hear the surprise Lane 8 track towards the middle).
