Independent Label Family & artist collective.
Born in 2019 after the Fairy Island Festival in the Faroe Islands, Gommadura emerged from a quest to define a unique style of minimal techno , while collaborating with Blame Society rec. This distinctive sound, ranging from 128 to 135 BPM, features a rough and rubbery bass with hard and metallic mid-highs. Over time, Gommadura evolved into a collective of artists seeking for a new aesthetic, both musically and graphically.

By 2021, after numerous free party across the Italian and European scenes, the BPM surged to up to 170. This led the collective to produce records capturing this new style, which had already been well-received in live sets and DJ performances within the rave community. However, no record label was willing to accommodate these diverse genres and BPMs on a single vinyl, especially from emerging young artists. Thus, Gommadura Records was born, uniting productions from various Italian collectives and crews to release the first real rubber vinyl: COLEOPTERAE FERRUM (gmva001).

From that moment, everything changed. What started as an experiment transformed into a new ritualistic form of partying. Gommadura incorporated visual art, with video content produced entirely by our artists, and music that follows a thematic evolution throughout the night. Our goal is to keep people awake, aware, and happy — ensuring that even in a personal psychedelic journey, our rubber music hypnotizes your pelvis and awakens your mind and body.
