"For Every Child" es una de las piezas más emotivas que he creado hasta ahora.

A través del piano, quise reflejar el viaje emocional que vive un niño que crece en un entorno marcado por el abuso doméstico: desde el miedo y la confusión, hasta la esperanza, la luz y el amor.

Cada nota está pensada para dar voz a lo que tantas veces no se dice con palabras. Para mí, esta pieza es un abrazo sonoro que acompaña, que comprende y que transmite ese mensaje tan necesario: “Te veo. Te entiendo. Eres importante. Eres amado.”

La historia detrás de esta música:

No conocía Operation Encompass hasta que un día recibí un mensaje suyo que me conmovió profundamente. Me explicaron quiénes eran y me preguntaron si me gustaría componer una pieza que representara su labor y todo lo que hacen por los niños que viven situaciones de violencia en el hogar.

Operation Encompass es una organización con sede en Inglaterra. Su misión es asegurar que, cuando un niño ha estado expuesto a un episodio de violencia doméstica, su escuela lo sepa antes de que empiece el siguiente día lectivo. Así, los profesores pueden ofrecerle el apoyo emocional que necesita de forma inmediata, con empatía y cuidado.

Acepté encantado. Crear esta música fue, para mí, una forma de rendir homenaje a esos niños y al trabajo silencioso pero transformador de quienes los protegen y los acompañan.

Así nació "For Every Child". Una música compuesta con el alma, para recordar que cada niño tiene derecho a sentirse seguro, comprendido y amado.

El lema de Operation Encompass lo resume todo:
"Every child has the right to be nurtured, supported and to feel safe."
