The Steven Universe fandom has been real quiet ever since the movie dropped. Let's change that. :)

Ok, now for a bit of a confession: ever since I started making mashups, I've wanted to make this joke. No kidding - that whole bit with the vocals starting too early has been in my head for over a year. It's about time that I got it out of my system.

For the uninitiated, "how to piss off the steven universe fandom" was a meme on Soundcloud back in 2016, and it was a Soundclown staple for a while, usually reserved for mashups of "Alone Together" (although occasionally "Stronger than you") with some other lewd source, plus a meme-y or lewd thumbnail. As memes go, it's suuuuper dead, but obviously that hasn't stopped (and will never stop) me.

How to piss off the Steven Universe fandom: pt. 40±5

I finished this mashup at the behest of @user-352444643 (although they may not have thought I was being serious); the idea came while listening to a remix of "Do it all the Time" by @keep-smyling, where I noticed how similar that song and "CORE" were. It's not my funniest or most original idea, but I think it's alright.

I was also planning to have "Redesign your logo" play for far longer in this mashup, but most of the vocals in that song have this funny kind of dissonance to them that clashed pretty strongly with the other sources in the mashup, so I had to keep it pretty limited.

Oh, and sorry about the copyright buffer - not much I can do about that, though. If it's not there, this track would not stay uploaded.
