Ein aufregendes Jahr neigt sich dem Ende und wir bedanken uns bei allen , für eure wunderbaren, musikalischen Beiträge und damit verbundenen neuen Beziehungen, die wir dadurch erfahren durften.

Für die 110. Runde haben wir Ligal Tamir aus Berlin eingeladen. Die Genrediversität in ihren Darbietungen hat uns direkt verzaubert. Ihr sound zeichnet sich durch eine Mischung  deeper, housigen tunes, bis hin zu breaks, disco und dunkleren elektronischen Klängen aus. Gespickt mit humorvollen aber auch etwas emotionaleren Momenten in ihrer Musik, verpasst sie dem Ganzen eine ganz besondere Spannung durch unerwartete Passagen.

Das schönste Gefühl für Ligal ist, wenn sie durch ihre musikalische Reise, Menschen zum Lachen und unbeschwertem Tanzen animieren kann und dabei Momente der bedingungslosen Extase kreiert.

Seit 2017 in Berlin sesshaft, bespielt sie dort auch die verschiedensten Clubs wie das Kater Blau, Mensch Meier, Birgit & Bier, Beate Uwe und viele mehr. Mit dabei auch ihre LTMD Crew, mit der sie fernab der Clubkultur auch auf diversen Events und Festivals tätig ist und sich dadurch sowas wie eine kleine Familie gebildet hat. Seit kurzem auch Teil des Embassy of Empathy Labels, sind wir alle sehr gespannt, was da noch so auf uns zukommen wird.

Viel Spaß mit ihrem Mix und wir wünschen euch einen liebevollen und nostalgischen Ausklang aus diesem Jahr, 2022.

Der 3-jährige Januar hat endlich auch mal ein Ende gefunden .Nun starten wir mit nem alten Hasen aus unserer Lokalität in den neuen Monat.
Mit seinen Brüdern gründete er vor Jahren die RDS-Crew, die in und um Frankfurt mit diversen Parties für Furore gesorgt haben. Sein Bruder Simon und er haben schon einige Platten auflegen dürfen und für unvergessliche Tanzmomente gesorgt. Sei es im Silbergold, den beheimateten Clubs in Gießen, den eigenen BulliBeats open airs oder auf süßen, versteckten raves im Gießener Umland.
Und seit einiger Zeit treibt er auch hier und da, sein Unwesen in der Leipziger Unterwelt!

Genug davon.

A new improvisation - only - session from our crewmate Fuchur aka FindUs, mixing an akai force with the possibilities of Koala Sampler, a microphone, a selfmade soundbox from his father and a volca keys combined with a mini - chaos - pad 2. 
We don't wanna spoiler, listen yourself and leave a like or comment if you enjoy!

The whole thing is free to download, in case you would like to have it offline ;)
This music will never come back and was only made for the moment, without any preparation instead the templates for the force.
The final mix is a 1:20H - cut from the more than 2 hours jam, there is nothing mastered in it, only normalized for better listening pleasure.

we are maximum thankful that our good friend Leif, who has already played at one of our LOVE CREW LOVES YOU events, has recorded a slowrave set of the extra class for us.

politically and personally, @love-1312 has his heart in the left (!) place and impresses with his always friendly manner and is also pretty active in the legendary @suedpol-hamburg almost every week... whether as the good soul of the cloakroom or as the now resident DJ of this epic place for dance floor moments of the extra class sort again and again.

furthermore, the man also likes to organise his own formats or was active at the TURTUR, south of the elbe, like a magical all-rounder.

look forward to a great and balanced set, which can be described with the hashtag #slowrave.

✔️ What are your musical influences?
Very diverse, indeed. My first EP I bought was “die Prinzen” :D. 

In my teenage years, I was high on rock and metal - early stuff from Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit (good old days) to harder stuff like Slipknot and Soulfly. 

Around 18 I started to like hip-hop and rap music. Back then, I was battle rapping and really enjoyed this more aggressive style of rap. Weirdly kind of the same time, I started to enjoy electronic music, house, trance, and progressive psy. 

Moving to Amsterdam and later Berlin, I enjoyed parties like the (for me) groundbreaking Barfuß parties. Then Bar25, Kater Holzig, early days of Sisyphos and of course legendary Berghain. 

My interest in Electronic music peaked, and I have not looked back ever since.
					 							
✔️ What makes good “afterhour”?

 The setting: Think a small clearing in a dark forest, a rooftop bar in Bangkok, a sunrise at an amazing beach party in Poland or in the Caribbean, to a man-made "Strand" somewhere in Berlin (Hauptstrasse 15). 

Bring some chilled drinks, some chill out sounds or some banging techno. Most important is you embrace the moment.
					 							
✔️ Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

Wildthings Festical: A family, a special group of people. 
Talented musicans, DJs, artists, lovers, givers – just beautiful and inspiring people. Every year we meet at an awesome location at Klingenmühle in Brandenburg to dance, laugh, enjoy. It was a dear and special honor to play the main stage closing this year.
						 							
✔️ What was your experience of the set you recorded?

The whole day it was freaking hot, around 38°. Everyone was tired, and Ligal Tamir was already going hard into the night. I was trying to pick up the pace, and gather all people on the dance floor. It worked – ecstatic moves, happy faces, beautiful, buzzing energy. I still have goosebumps thinking about it. Much love!

would play the music Akira enjoys the most. As Resumée the dj and graphic designer from Bern was invited to play a set in our beautiful booth. He would like to say following:

"Time should never limit the magic of certain moments, as it leads us to unexpected places. Summertime, my Berlin days, and the festivals brought me wonderful memories and encounters with so many amazing people on the dance floor, during DJ sets, in clubs, and much, much more.

Now I can express my feelings through music – a great opportunity! This set is my attempt to process my past experiences and share them with you. It was the most beautiful time in the universe."
