Phillip Lauer seems to be generating a vast amount of music at present. Every couple of weeks an email will drop into our busy inboxes with a new release or remix from the Tuff City Kids member. His album for Permanent Vacation last year caught our attention with it's zealous melodies and excitable percussion. It was a real feel good affair which can often go amiss. His sensibilities remain similar on his latest release for Futureboogie. It seemed an odd choice of release for both the label and artist, however, after a listen it begins to make perfect sense.

This is a remix I did for Jamie Lloyd, one of Sydney's most talented musician. 
                  The track came out in January 08 on Future Classic, backed up with a Soultourist remix of "You're Out or In?". In other words, it's a Drumpoet release in disguise. The virus keeps spreading ;-)
                  Concerning my remix, I wanted something with more "ooomph" than my previous tracks...judge it for yourself, but I think this one is on a rave tip!

Mads Jensen is an inhabitant of multiple personas. Working as Massimo, Jazz Menson or here, for Apollo, simply as Menson, the Dane's appetite for bringing his "deep and sexy sound to the clubs" is an axiom that drives his passion for house music and saw him release the "U" EP on Garterhaus at the end of 2012. This passion led him to form the StudieStrasse label in 2010 and saw him voted as "DJ of the Year" at the Danish Club awards. Under his Menson guise, Jensen's remix of "Killing Krazy" is full of the trademark deep sounds that underpin his work. Keeping Addex's original vocals in tact, a sense of rhythm is gradually built upon by a hypnotic deep house chord sequence and shuffling open hi-hats. Dale Howard is back on NM2 and this time on his own with this fine “Slot 47 EP”.
Mr. Howard doesnt really need a big introduction as he has been on the radar of almost every big dj for the last couple of years.

Dale is highly influenced by the garage house from back in the 90s and its noticable on the “Slot 47 EP” although we feel he is showcasing different sides of his production skills with this EP. From Slot 47 which is super deep but a very functional club track to the catchy “Dance With Me” which is more for the early hours (or late) and poolside action.
