TRAXSOURCE LIVE! Sessions was born out of the need to share even more artists and music with you. The one-hour show format chosen to allow enough time for the artist’s essence to shine through and for you, our Traxsource family to get a flavor of their sound, label and general vibe. Once a week. Every week.

This week however, is one of those weeks where we get to buck that trend. We’ve gone off piste. To celebrate the release of Rob Paine & David Martson’s new track - ‘All The Way Far Away’ - feat. the iconic sounds of Lady Alma (available exclusively from Traxsource, might we add) it was only fitting that we present to you not one, but two hours of music!

Rob Paine steers the ship for the first hour - founder of Worship Recordings back in 1998 - his productions are often found on the likes of Large Music, Yoruba Records amongst others. With over 25 years in the game, Wayne Houghton—better known as Good2Groove—is a powerhouse DJ from Halifax whose passion for disco and house music runs deep. His journey, which began in the mid-90s, has seen him share the decks with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Joey Negro, E Smoove, Graeme Park, CJ Mackintosh, Groove Assassin, Ron Basejam, Victor Simonelli, Inland Knights, Saison, Ron Carroll, Terry Farley, Lenny Fontana, Bobby & Steve, Dennis Ferrer, Lisa Loud, Danny Rampling and Richard Earnshaw, to name just a few.

A Pioneer in the Scene

Wayne’s love for soulful, deep groove sounds led him to co-found the Sneaky Disco podcast, a platform that has exploded in popularity, racking up over 500,000 plays and earning the respect of heavyweight DJs and producers worldwide.

Not content with just curating sounds online, he took things to the dancefloor by co-founding The Get Up, a highly acclaimed house music night that has become a staple in Sowerby Bridge and recently expanded to Dean Clough. Known for its electric atmosphere and top-tier music selection, The Get Up has firmly established itself as one of Yorkshire’s go-to house music events.
