I just wanted to make some funky music in the limited time before my carpal tunnel kicked my ass, so I did this loopy bit of cool shit.

You say you don’t believe, I can not show you every thing I’ve seen
It’s extreme I know but every now and then you know what happens goes and then it’s gone and then
It’s hard to believe such it’s-possible unless-you-know from-feelings-though
The scientific worldview laughs at those it ridicules 

And I know what I’ve seen
Don’t try gaslight me
Nothing takes away

You say you don’t but don’t offer why, I see the laughter in your eyes but I  try
I can’t give up on what I believe in and living a lie is too much deceiving, i don’t need it
Come on, gimme a break for once put away the routine of the hardened cynic for once and  draw the blinds
Open the windows and let some air don’t let it get stale in there thinking you’re always right bear in mind

Imprints itself more easily and mostly subconsciously 
But it’s child talk you should know it’s smoke without the mirrors
Little tricks to get people behaving to an unspoken criteria
The discourse that’s our lifeblood is infected with diphtheria
People unsymptomatic not realizing they’re carriers
I sleepwalk at night but in the day is quite hilarious
Repeat after me so you can be programmed to hysteria

All the while we’re getting closer
To whatever is the end game 

A Liberal no longer means what it did last year
When everyone could laugh at stupid jokes and not fear
We instantly became 1984 with access to social media
Broadcast everything ourselves and let the furor be superior
It’s getting hard to express without self censoring creatively
But it’s OK because the government will provide answers on this post-haste
Know my fate is to protect my words behind guitars
Fascists are the ones who will fight against the arts
