BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL aka Karin & Ty, are a duo on the rise. In their ten years of experience, they have defined a new sound oscillating between classic 90s techno, jackin' Chicago acid, and hypnotic, ass-shaking machine funk.

The pair have been on a roll recently, releasing a string of highly sought-after cuts on SYMBOLISM, Super Rhythm Trax, and Balkan Vinyl, while picking up support from techno titans such as Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Truncate, Ben Klock, Luke Slater, Noncompliant, and Len Faki.

On the dancefloor, their masterfully crafted mix of techno meets acid, breaks, and rave morphs into the energetic peak-time force that has come to define the BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL sound. Their sets are fast-paced and muscular, transporting us to the golden era of techno while also moving us firmly into the future, showcasing their appreciation for the past while creating something new altogether.

Over the last years, they've made their mark turning out incredible sets for Ben Sims' MACHNE, Watergate, ADE, Blitz, The Block, Dockyard, MARICAS, HE.SHE.THEY, Milkshake, and Motion Bristol. If you've ever seen the duo live, you'll know they have that elusive magic touch. Every time Karin and Ty hit the decks, they bring all the twisted arcs, goosebumps, and mind-melting sensations. Without a doubt, you're in for an unforgettable journey.

C-STAR is an up-and-coming techno DJ that has burst onto the Vancouver music scene. She has a love for dark and acid techno with pounding rhythms, bringing a lively texture to her sets.
C-STAR is known for her high-energy performances that absorb listeners with an unmatched emotional intensity. She has recently started her journey with music production and has several tracks on their way to being released. C-STAR also currently holds a DJ residency with @vantekgroup.
 
When C-STAR is not behind the decks or on the dance floor, she is in a lab coat studying the impacts of climate change on fish physiology. She will soon complete her MSc and begin her PhD later this summer.

"Boca Na Água" emerges as a connecting point between Brazilian culture and the current electronic music scene. The track, already tested on major stages such as Ritual Stage at Surreal Park, B.O.M.A, Colmeia at Green Valley, Tetto Rooftop, and others, features excerpts from the iconic Rita Lee, a figure who transformed Brazilian music since the late 1970s.

The vocals, rescued from "Mania de Você" (1979), bear the mark of a time when Rita expanded her aesthetic, approaching pop and disco, without abandoning the boldness that made her famous. By inserting it into an electronic context, the production not only pays homage but also reopens this gesture of rupture and freedom.

The result is a track that escapes predictability: Brazilian in essence, global in reach. "Boca Na Água" asserts itself as a work that doesn't repeat formulas, but rather clearly weaves memory and the present.
