To suffer my story

I was born in Baghdad and as a child and teenager lived with my family in several Arab countries. I would often be asked where I was from, Amriki? Ruski? No, Anna Inglayzee (I am an Englishman) is what I would say. That used to invariably get a huge smile and cheery Manchester United! or Winston Churchill!  exclamation in return. Well that was a long time ago. Later in life I have become more aware of our unique history in this world and I don't expect anything welcoming in reply to the same question anymore.

I am Chris Lambert (AKA Goodenough) a guitarist/songwriter living in Pucklechurch near Bristol. I am inspired by stories of war and history. My recording set up is extremely basic, but I strive to capture some nice guitar and write words that say something original and respect their subject. I have an album's worth of such material that I hope to record to broadcast quality. It is important to me that I can perform all my songs with just me and my guitar. Thanks for listening.
