The People’s Dance Collective aka The PDC (Adam Murray) is an African-born and raised producer/DJ that calls Melbourne, Australia home.

The PDC is inspired by the euphoria of trance, the rugged nature of electro, and the deep emotional vibes of house.
His sets are energetic journeys that rediscover forgotten gems and showcase future classics. He inhabits a space where throwback house bombs sit comfortably italo, tech house, organic and afro house.
Early on he organised illegal parties in the Australian bush, with DIY stages and generators. Currently, The PDC is the founder of the mix and party series https://soundcloud.com/deephousemelbourne (DHM) with over 50 primo mixes from global DJs. DHM regularly throws a monthly party at various venues around Melbourne, including: Howler Brunswick, ATET, 29th Apartment, Rumbler Bar, Lucky Coq, Ferdydurke, Bodriggy Brewery, Section 8 & Killing Time Bar.

His breakthrough year was 2023, when he had the opportunity to play as a resident on Melbourne’s floating nightclub ATET. It was here he refined his regular daytime party set. His true passion is production, and the past few years have seen an exploratory phase where no genre limitations exist. This has led to a release on the Australian heavyweight label Ugenius, plus a few other labels that include Future Avenue, Beat Sound Visions and his own label The People’s Dance Collective.

The PDC's Italo-crossover track released on Ugenius received support from local Melbourne DJs and from the likes of https://soundcloud.com/karotte-3 - it was played at the main room at https://soundcloud.com/timewarp_official Festival, Mannheim in 2023.
