An hour of meditative music from 1/2 of Phase Group (the other being 12th Isle alumnus Lo Kindre) and the artist presently known best as Mr TC. It's a perfect distraction from the cold that's finally set in here in Glasgow, but likely as appropriate for commutes and contemplation in whatever corner of the world you find yourself in. Long overdue and we're stoked to host it!

This set was recorded during the launch of Oddity Radio, which happened in Paris on the 2nd April 2022. A new project initiated by yours truly which is not a radio in the true sense of the word, more a collective hub which gathers a selection of our favorite record labels, showcasing playlists from each of their back catalogues and occasional exclusive mixes. These independent labels are some of the finest of their kind, filled with artists and attitudes that we believe exemplify a creative spirit for the future. Carving a niche in anything from the esoteric to the leftfield, global dance or laidback ambience alike. We strive to open a path into their psyches through sounds, words and visions. Bringing these like-minded folk together for the first time, allowing their tunes to breath harmoniously side by side in a continuous mix of complimentary aural delights.

@okodj : A set recorded for La Fête de la Musique event of Oddity Radio, without knowing in advance that it was going to be recorded and published afterwards, which I have liked! This allowed me to play without having the "post live" experience in mind, so it's really honest and raw. The energy was super nice and I have reconnected with a lot of parisian friends at this party !

Musically it's a compilation of my summer favourites, including a bunch of very different genres as always : post punk, sexy house, industrial, amapiano, you name it !

There, he began a mix series of pitched down cinematic journeys called 'Safari', often constructed in many sonic layers. He's a true Gemini, always up for some mischief and new adventures when travelling with friends and like-minded peeps. He hates waiting, certainly in queues. His only phobia is of spiders above a certain size, which will def occur in this mix at some point. Furthermore, it's again a fierce collage concept. A sultry, mad, flaming, desperate river of no return.....

» This sonic landscape is a musical odyssey into a distant realm and its hidden memories — a tribute to nature's relentless brutality as well as its beauty, to an everlasting cycle of of extreme conditions that shape an unforgiving landscape. Imagine gnarled, sun-bleached trees shrouded in mist while countless creatures crawl beneath their twisted roots, and with every overturned leaf, a new microcosm emerges, revealing the intricate beauty amidst the savagery. Curva Imposible is a gathering in Barcelona that explores the most enigmatic margins of music in unique spaces.

The latest event featured local and international acts like Bejota Nova, Lato A, Pedro D. Sáiz, ML, Tomaga, Ron V/D, Don The Tiger, Estades, Andre Pahl & Alicia Carrera, Heap and Rabih Beaini.

The Mystic Room is the place thought for mental relaxation where any sonic oddities could happen - for this occasion, secret guest André Pahl and I played the last slot, acompanied by the nicest crowd.

Big thanks to André Pahl, all the listeners that accompanied us along the journey, to Meri Bonastre, Vir and all the artists and friends involved.

'Transpersonal Experience' is a state in which the sense of identity or self extends beyond the individual or personal to encompass wider aspects of humankind, life, cosmos.

It is a beautiful expedition where you lose yourself in order to become one with all the existence. To meld with the whole and dance with it, all in sync.

"My Grandfather, who played a grand role as one of the Masters in my upbringing, introduced me to Omar Khayyam, Rumi, Nizami Ganjavi, Saadi and other Persian philosophers and poets. Basically the whole Sufi poetry, teaching, vision and being is the major and vibrant source of a dancing inspiration for the album."

Much like Saphileaum's forementioned inspirations, 'Transpersonal Experience' has an instant transcending effect on the listener - invoking a sense of clear focus & tranquility, yet subtly pulsing with the tribal rhythm of dance. It's the perfect mood enhancer.
