Andy takes part in the scene of minimal techno in 2009, by releasing for labels like Simplex, INminimax, Empedo and being played by artists such as Umek, Axwell, Presslaboys, Mike Wall and others. 
Music has always been his passion and he listens and loves many other genres as well as what he produces.

ADN Music presents the second episode of ADN Chronicles : the Horned God.

The Chronicles series present the annual label compilation gathering all our producers each time around a different mythological background. 
This year, we continue our explorations of ancient legends with the mysterious figure of the Celtic god Cernunnos, Lord of the Wild Things. He represents the biological cycle of nature, reflecting simultaneously life and death, the seeding and the decay, depicted by the ancients with the antlers of a stag, growing at spring and falling at autumn.

Cults of the Horned God can be traced back to Mesolithic era and is shared among many pre-Indo-European cultures. In fact, Cernunnos shows disturbing similarities with Pashupati, an old incarnation of Shiva as “Lord of the Cattle” still worshiped in Nepal. Just like the Vedic gods, Cernunnos is seating cross-legged and holds symbolic objects in his hands like the torque and the ram-headed snake. He’s also sometime depicted as a three-faced god, remembering once again Shiva.

The origins of the Celt people are uncertain, but the Kurgan theory, among others clues, gives a common root to Indian & European cultures. In these times of closed borders and fear of others, it is essential to remember that Humanity has always been made of migrations and mingling. 
This selection of ten tracks depicts this infinite story of birth & death, the perpetual movement allowing the continuity of Life. What else do we celebrate when we dance?

Good Old Raoul est un artiste, producteur de musique électronique autodidacte. Évoluant depuis une dizaine d'années, il puise son inspiration dans le hip-hop, découvre la techno en free party et la trance lors de ses voyages. Son développement musical s'est fait dans les échanges et les apprentissages aux côtés de Version Bizar, Breakoacoustique et Eco Jafar, avec qui il a partagé expérience et techniques. Riche de ces collaborations, Good Old Raoul a eu l'opportunité de se produire sur scène auprès de grands noms tels que Electrypnose, Kliment ou encore Golanski. En 2022, il intègre le label Chronozone qui l'accompagne dans ses sorties et ses dates depuis. En 2023, Ben Rama lui fait confiance. Good Old Raoul sort une track sur le label canadien Techgnosis, et intègre celui-ci. Sa musique est une fusion unique entre la trance et la techno, alliant le minimalisme déjanté à des sonorités psychédéliques. Good Old Raoul est un acteur majeur de la scène psychédélique, comptant de nombreux amis artistes. Sa musique incarne la rencontre entre la nature et la technologie, la sagesse et la folie, la danse et l'introspection.

Good Old Raoul is a self-taught electronic music artist and producer. Evolving for about a decade, he draws inspiration from hip-hop, discovered techno through free parties, and trance during his travels.
