Easily one of my fav songs/anime ever made (no i dont like mechs and sh*t, I love it despite that). Anime is "Yasuke", a Netflix Original for curious readers. As someone currently getting into Nujabes, Uyama Hiroto and the like, hearing Flying Lotus for the first time through an anime (like Samurai Champloo) really allows scenes and the music within them to display themselves full-force emotionally. Hugely inspired by Flying Lotus' latest record "Your'e Dead!", I wanted to hear the sounds of 'Siren Song' being placed in another context. I took the vocals form Angel Deradoori and sampled a few bass, fx and harmonical parts to create my own version. Enjoy!
